Eleventh Kāṇḍa — The Full and New-Moon Sacrifice: Provides supplementary remarks on the Full and New-Moon offerings, Agnihotra, Brahmacārin discipline, Upanayana, Savitrī formula, daily Vedic study, Soma ritual, animal sacrifice, and theological discussions on Prajāpati, Brahman, the year, sacrifice, and the gods. Twelfth Kāṇḍa — Sacrificial Sessions and Expiatory Ceremonies: Treats the Sattra or sacrificial session, the Agnihotra, rites for mishaps such as the going out of fire, the death of the Agnihotrin, burial of the dead body, Soma-sacrifice expiations, and the Sautrāmaṇī sacrifice. Thirteenth Kāṇḍa — The Aśvamedha, Purushamedha, Sarvamedha, and Funeral Ceremonies: Presents the horse-sacrifice in detail, including preliminary rites, the roaming horse, Soma-days, animal offerings, the role of the king and queens, symbolic dialogues, and concluding rites. It also discusses the symbolic human sacrifice, the all-sacrifice, and funerary procedures including the preparation of the tomb and arrangement of bones. Fourteenth Kāṇḍa — The Pravargya: Explains the Pravargya rite, including the mythic background, Mahāvīra pot, Gharma offering, preparation and consecration of vessels, heating and offering procedures, priestly rules, expiations, and the final setting out of the implements.
